Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Technical Service Specialist for Core Diagnostics. The role is field-based with travel across Sweden and Nordic regions, supporting high‑precision diagnostic instruments and software, performing installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

You will build strong customer relationships, provide phone support, and measure success by customer satisfaction and service KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; engineering degree preferred.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical equipment and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Swedish; good English skills (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly for a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement hardware and software upgrades (TSBs).
• Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM/PdM) activities.
• Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations.
• Provide phone support to customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver high level of service and responsiveness.
• Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction (NPS), achievement of service KPIs, and regional profitability.
