Job description

Do you want to support customers in driving innovation and adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve quality and efficiency in their clinical practice?

Are you passionate about helping healthcare providers embrace innovation? As an AI Adoption Specialist, you will support them in integrating AI into their clinical workflows to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Sectra’s Amplifier Services is a new and growing part of our portfolio, designed to make AI adoption smoother, smarter, and more scalable. For many of our customers, AI is still uncharted territory, and that’s where you come in.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to lead successful AI adoption journeys, from early planning to full integration into the clinical workflow. Your mission: ensure our customers can realize the full value from AI, every step of the way.

You will be part of a global team driving real innovation in healthcare and play a key role in shaping how AI is deployed across clinical workflows, combining technical knowledge with customer success. From structuring adoption projects to supporting integration with AI vendors, your work will have a direct impact on improving care around the world.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and clinical practice, is confident managing projects, communicates effectively and has a hands‑on mindset.

At Sectra you will
  • Work with highly skilled co-workers.
  • Contribute to better healthcare for millions of patients worldwide.
  • Be part of a learning journey. We have a continuous drive to learn and excel.
  • Receive mentorship to ensure a smooth onboarding.
  • Have fun!
In this position you will
  • Drive and coordinate AI adoption projects. Define standardized rollout strategies, analyze workflows, manage technical configurations, and guide customer onboarding. Serve as the primary contact for all AI-related inquiries during deployment, supporting both customers and internal teams.
  • Continuously refine deployment templates, documentation, and best practices to support scalable and efficient implementations across multiple customer sites.
  • Collaborate with external parties (customers and AI vendors) and internal teams (product management and development) to ensure brilliant workflows with seamless integration of AI aligned with customer needs and clinical workflows.

Your work will be done in close collaboration with Sectra’s customers and end users around the world, so some occasional travel and on-site presence will be expected.

At Sectra, we value people for who they are: their mindset, curiosity, and willingness to grow. We’re looking for someone with solid experience in operations, customer success, or digital health/AI implementation, ideally in a fast‑growing environment. Someone who thrives in cross‑functional settings, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes pride in supporting and uplifting those around them.

To perform well in this role, we want you to have
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, IT or equivalent with a strong academic performance.
  • Able to read code, understand system architecture, and write small scripts when needed (no full‑time development required).
  • Experience in driving customer success and aligning multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects, streamline processes, and communicate effectively.
  • A strong desire to contribute to a passionate, startup‑minded team building something new and impactful.
  • Fluency in English.
In addition, we consider it as an asset if you also
  • Have a background in radiology workflows or medical IT (e.g., PACS, RIS, imaging departments) and experience with DICOM/HL7.
  • Have worked in a scaling company and can bring best practices for growth and efficiency.
  • Have basic skills in Python.
  • Speak more languages than those required above.
  • Bring cross‑cultural experience and high emotional intelligence.
  • Have interests outside of work, such as music, sports, or horseback riding.

The goal is for the right candidate to start as soon as possible.

Depending on the role, a mandatory background security screening might be performed as part of the recruitment process at Sectra. Please reach out to the responsible hiring team if you have any questions regarding this. Learn more about our recruitment process.
