Job summary

foodora is seeking a highly analytical and strategic (Senior) Specialist, Logistics Operations to join our regional logistics team. This role is based in Budapest, Prague, Vienna or Stockholm and focuses on driving daily operational excellence through precise rider staffing and forecasting, ensuring rider supply aligns with demand.

You will blend data insights with end-to-end market ownership, lead product rollouts, and manage regional projects to optimize efficiency and rider earnings across EU

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in high-growth tech, logistics, strategy consulting, or similar dynamic environment.
• Strong working experience with Excel, SQL, and Looker, including the creation of KPIs and definitions.
• University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making and ownership of outcomes.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ownership mindset with a drive to improve operational outcomes.
• Nice to have familiarity with modern productivity tools and AI/GPT assistants.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Daily Staffing: take ownership of daily demand planning and rider staffing, balance service levels with cost efficiency.
• Market Performance: own logistics performance for key EU markets and improve delivery times and fleet efficiency.
• Data Analysis & Insights: analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights and influence regional strategy.
• Product Rollouts: lead operational launches of new logistics products and features in markets.
• Project Delivery: manage regional projects to optimize rider earnings and logistics efficiency.
• Collaborate for Impact: partner with local logistics heads to translate regional strategies into local wins.
