Job summary

Bannerflow is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead 2–3 software engineering teams, ~4 engineers per team, guiding day-to-day and long-term tech direction. You will have full staff responsibility, including headcount planning, hiring, performance, and budgets, reporting to the VP of Technology as part of the Tech Leadership Team.

You will collaborate with Product and other teams to align priorities, drive modern engineering, and ensure reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a role with direct people management responsibility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven track record in digital product development and building high-performing teams.
• Clear view on AI transforming software development and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow your teams through hiring, coaching, and development.
• Champion modern product development and engineering practices, including AI adoption.
• Own your teams’ delivery and improve predictability and impact.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to align on customer needs and outcomes.
• Contribute to Technology's strategic direction as part of the Tech Leadership Team.
• Promote strong operational practices and platform reliability.
