Job Summary: We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to deliver on-site support for end users, manage office IT infrastructure, oversee asset tracking, and assist with various project-based initiatives. This position covers troubleshooting, managing devices throughout their lifecycle, maintaining office technology systems, handling inventory, and liaising with remote technical teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support
- Deliver on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Handle the provisioning, setup, replacement, and retirement of IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, and general user needs.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 support teams as needed.
Office Infrastructure Support
- Maintain office IT services, including network access, printing, telephony, AV systems, and other workplace technology.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot networking equipment such as switches, routers, and access points.
- Support smart office tools, digital signage, and meeting room technology.
- Work with vendors and help coordinate planned maintenance work.
Asset Management
- Perform regular inventory audits and keep asset records accurate and up to date.
Project & Site Support
- Manage the full asset lifecycle — receiving, registering, labeling, imaging, deploying, tracking, and maintaining equipment.
- Coordinate warranty claims, device redeployment, proper disposal, and stock levels.
- Maintain compliance with asset management policies and audit standards.
- Support office relocations, hardware upgrades, equipment moves, and infrastructure projects.
- Help with business events, product demos, and technology rollouts.
- Provide remote-hands assistance and escort third-party vendors on site when needed.
Required Skills
- Hands‑on experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and general office IT infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
- Background in hardware asset management and inventory control.
- Solid troubleshooting ability, documentation habits, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating with remote support teams and vendors.
