Job summary

Sharp Brains is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite end-user support, office infrastructure, asset management, and project-based assistance.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage lifecycle of devices, and coordinate with remote teams and vendors to keep systems running smoothly.

This role requires strong customer service, documentation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, and printers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite end-user, office infrastructure, asset management, and project-based support. The role involves troubleshooting, device life cycle management, office IT infrastructure support, inventory management, and coordination with remote technical teams and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• End-User Support
  • Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals (Windows, mac OS, Linux).
  • Provision, deploy, replace, and decommission IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues.
  • Coordinate escalations with Level 2 support teams.
• Office Infrastructure Support
  • Support office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV, and workplace technologies.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and related infrastructure equipment.
  • Assist with smart office solutions, digital signage, and conference room technologies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support scheduled maintenance activities.
• Asset Management
  • Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate asset records.
• Project & Site Support
  • Receive, register, label, image, deploy, track, and maintain IT assets.
  • Coordinate warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal, and stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies and audit requirements.
  • Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with business events, demonstrations, and technology deployments.
  • Provide remote hands support and escort third-party vendors when required.
