Job description

Country HR Head (m/f/d)

A significant focus lies within the Operations and Production environment, particularly in Sweden and the Scandinavia Cluster (over 1,000 FTE). You will act as a key strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team while ensuring robust, practical HR support at the operational level.

Your main tasks:
Strategic HR Responsibilities

Develop and implement the national HR strategy, ensuring alignment with global directives while adapting to the realities of production and operations.

Advise the Country Leadership Team on workforce planning, organizational design, and transformation initiatives.

Support organizational changes by assessing and managing HR‑related impacts.

Adapt and deploy global HR frameworks in areas such as talent management, compensation & benefits, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.

Operational HR Responsibilities

Work closely with plant and production leaders, providing daily operational HR support directly at the line.

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, shift models, workforce planning, time & attendance, and operational HR processes.

Ensure strong HR presence at production sites across Scandinavia.

Handle labor relations, union collaboration, and legal compliance.

Drive efficient HR processes and ensure effective collaboration with HR Operations, Payroll, and Centers of Excellence.

HR Leadership & Operations

Lead the Country HR Team across multiple legal entities and sites.

Professionalize and standardize HR processes with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Monitor HR KPIs with emphasis on absenteeism, turnover, workforce needs, and shift planning.

Strengthen cooperation between HR, Production, and Supply Chain stakeholders.

Culture, Compliance & Collaboration

Foster an inclusive, performance‑oriented culture across all sites, especially within Operations.

Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, collective agreements, and regulatory requirements.

Build strong relationships with leaders, employees, and employee representative bodies.

Your profile:
  • Degree in Business, Law, HR, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years senior HR leadership experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or production environments within a global matrix‑driven organisation.
  • Experience with the HR 3 Pillar model.
  • Ability to combine strategic mindset with hands‑on operational execution.
  • Expertise in labor law, collective agreements, union relations, and employee relations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels—from production floor to executive leadership.
  • Experience in HR transformation, harmonization of processes, and change management.
  • Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
