Responsibilities
  • Ensure all manufactured products meet specified PepsiCo and regulatory standards in terms of specification and food safety compliance.
  • Conduct daily analysis on finished products, incoming raw materials and packaging materials, isolating non‑conforming items and taking corrective action.
  • Participate in inspection visits by regulatory authorities and support addressing issues and concerns.
  • Maintain GMP compliance, raising relevant issues during the shift and enforcing safety requirements such as Near Miss, chemical management and other EHS standards.
  • Support monthly food safety audits, implement FS standards and audit findings, and coordinate CAPA activities.
  • Monitor production operator’s product analysis, enter results in SPC sheets, and communicate results to concerned functions through SAP.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with team leaders, support internal and external proficiency tests, and investigate complaints.
  • Maintain laboratory area and equipment in good working condition, ensuring calibration status of lab instruments and supporting developmental activities and projects relevant to the function.
  • Manage shift activities independently, enforcing GMP, stopping lines for critical non‑conformity observed during shifts, and training colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s science degree, preferably in chemistry or food science.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Good computer skills with excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Newly graduated applicants can apply; preferred experience includes chemists in a food manufacturing plant with profound knowledge of latest lab instruments and ISO quality system.
