Job summary

slihrms seeks a seasoned Utilities Engineer (Wet Services) to supervise the construction of potable water, irrigation, sewerage, stormwater, and firefighting networks for large building and hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure works meet approved designs and standards while supporting safety and timely delivery.

You will review drawings and calculations, coordinate with civil, MEP, and landscape teams, witness inspections, and lead commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent is desirable.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.
• Training related to utility infrastructure, construction supervision, or quality management is advantageous.
• Additional certifications related to utility engineering or project management are considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of potable water networks and related wet utilities.
• Review wet utility shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material submissions, and technical proposals.
• Ensure wet utility works comply with quality plans and contractual requirements.
• Oversee testing, leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, flow testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor site inspections, progress, and adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities and stakeholders on wet utilities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and documentation.
