Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Utilities Engineer (Wet Services) in Saudi Arabia to supervise the construction of potable water, sewerage, irrigation, stormwater, and firefighting networks for major building projects. You will ensure works follow approved designs, standards, and authority rules on site, with a focus on safety and quality.

Key duties include reviewing drawings and calculations, coordinating with civil/MEP teams, witnessing testing and commissioning, and delivering timely, compliant utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent accreditation is desirable.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.
• Training related to utility infrastructure, construction supervision, or quality management is advantageous.
• Additional certifications related to utility engineering or project management are considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and coordination of potable water networks, irrigation, sewerage, drainage, and firefighting water infrastructure.
• Verify compliance with approved construction methodologies, specs, and authority requirements.
• Monitor workmanship quality; witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and landscape teams to resolve interfaces.
• Prepare reports and document non-conformities with corrective actions.
• Review shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material submissions, and technical proposals.
• Support value engineering while maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance for system optimization and issue resolution.
