Job summary

JobLeader in Jeddah is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of welding experience and is able to read blueprints and specifications.

The salary offered is 1400 SAR per month; we are open to immigrants. Responsibilities include reading drawings, selecting welding methods, preparing parts, welding in multiple positions, inspecting welds, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings; take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, processes, procedures, tools & equipment (MIG/TIG & Stick).
• Ability to read & interpret technical documents & drawings.

Responsibilities

• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Demands for the Candidate:

• High school diploma/GED; Associate degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience as a Welder/Fitter/Fabricator.

• Knowledge of welding techniques, processes, procedures, tools & equipment (MIG/TIG & Stick).
• Knowledge of metals & their properties.
• Ability to read & interpret technical documents & drawings (blueprints).
• Good physical condition & endurance.
