Job summary

WSP Middle East seeks a Technical Director - Water in Saudi Arabia to provide strategic technical leadership and drive delivery across major potable water, wastewater and stormwater schemes. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee design reviews, ensure compliance with international and local standards, and support business growth across the region.

You will mentor engineers, champion innovation, and engage with utilities, authorities, and clients to deliver sustainable water solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering.
Master's degree preferred.
Chartered Engineer or equivalent accreditation.
15–20+ years in water infrastructure consultancy.

Responsibilities

Act as Technical Authority across water disciplines and lead technical reviews.
Provide strategic technical leadership for major water projects in the Middle East.
Oversee delivery of complex multidisciplinary water schemes from inception to construction support.
Monitor project performance with respect to scope, schedule and quality.
Lead client workshops, presentations, and strategic advisory engagements.
Mentor engineers and develop technical capabilities within the team.
