Job summary

BrightHire in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a hands-on Handyperson for Maintenance Services to perform reliable repairs and routine upkeep on buildings, equipment and facilities.

This full-time role requires experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance, with English and Arabic language skills preferred. No accommodation is provided.

You will work safely, read simple plans, manage tasks, and communicate with clients to ensure satisfactory service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a handyperson or similar role.
• Knowledge of basic repair techniques in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read building plans and manuals.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Physically able to perform manual labor and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work and carpentry.
• Inspect buildings and facilities regularly to identify repairs and maintenance needs.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment or parts.
• Install new fixtures and appliances as needed.
• Keep inventory of supplies and materials needed for repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on tasks.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide satisfactory services.
