Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician/Engineer in Saudi Arabia to perform maintenance on plant equipment, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions. The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, rotating machinery, and automated systems, with adherence to EHS and QFS policies.

You will oversee contracted labor, monitor daily parameters, and contribute to Reliability & Maintenance initiatives, ensuring safety and high equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mechanical safety standards awareness.

• Ability to read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts and schematic drawings.
• Knowledge in operating and automation systems.
• Technical knowledge for refrigeration plant cooling system, troubleshooting.
• CMMS knowledge is a plus.

• QFS and EHS systems knowledge.
• SAP knowledge.
• Able to do basic electro mechanical works independently.
• MS Office applications proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years industrial experience.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, HVAC, rotating and conveying systems.
• Equipment troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks and work orders related to mechanical maintenance and related engineering works safely and cost-effectively.
• Identify root causes of major problems and respond to technical problems within the area.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules to maintain plant equipment.
• Maintain line availability and equipment readiness.
• Supervise contracted labor during maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate SAP-PM records for work orders.
• Adhere to EHS and QFS policies and standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and RCA techniques.
• Perform daily parameter readings and monitoring as required.

Responsibilities

Execution of assigned tasks and work orders related to all types of Mechanical maintenance mechanical corrective preventive maintenance and any engineering related works in safe good and cost-effective manner within the given time frames The overall responsibility for performing assigned Work Orders as well as any other tasks by the supervisor Identify the root causes of major and repeating problems Respond to all technical problems within the assigned area and making sure proper actions are identified and taken Solving technical problems and identifying the actions and parts requirement Knowledge on spare parts description availability and required critical spare parts Daily contact with Direct Managers peers SupervisorsDecision making on utilisation of spare parts required corrective and preventive actions for breakdowns Executing the maintenance schedules plans to maintain the plant equipment with-in given engineering standards Achieve and maintain the Line availability Technical Efficiency amp Equipment readiness Ensure proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities are in place and EHS targets are achieved Operates all equipment s related to utilities sections Supervise contracted labours during maintenance activities and follow safety and company standard Performs required daily parameters readings monitoring s and as required by supervisor Operates all equipment related to Utilities sections Performs required daily parameters reading and monitoring and as assigned by the supervisor Daily reporting of all shift activities Identify opportunities and support initiatives to improve production processes as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor in coordination with production personnel to improve quality productivity enhance safety or drive down costs Support the execution of the site Maintenance and Reliability M amp R Strategy to achieve World Class maintenance status Execute and follow the assigned actions related to PEMM PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology tool and MIAP Maintenance Improvement Action Plan Support the implementation of Reliability Engineering tools and techniques to achieve Maintenance and Reliability M amp R KPI s Support executing Continuous Improvement CI initiatives and Failure Analysis techniques e g Root Cause Analysis RCA Attend the Maintenance forum meetings to share Maintenance Performance Best Practices Challenges and achievements Maintain and implement AIB standards Maintain accurate SAP-PM records and updates for all assigned Work Orders Adhere to EHS and QFS policies and standards To implement sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System MS at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities areas are in place and EHS targets are achieved.

• Environment, Health and Safety EHS systems and policies knowledge and system basic awareness.
• Knowledgeable in SAP system.
• Able to do basic electro mechanical works independently.
• Have a general knowledge and ability to use computers (MS office applications)ExperienceMinimum 2 years industrial experience.
