Job summary

Cabling Middle East Manufacturing Company in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, urgently hires a Switchgear Testing Engineer (MV & LV). Immediate joining is preferred; project-based/full-time work with visa support.

Travel may be required for site testing and commissioning across MV/LV equipment. The role requires hands-on testing experience with MV/LV switchgear, relay test equipment, and the ability to mobilize quickly for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE or Eaton switchgear preferred.
• Iqama and Saudi driving license preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• FAT & SAT testing of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear.
• Testing and commissioning of Circuit Breakers, CTs, VTs, protection relays and meters.
• Protection relay configuration, logic verification & secondary injection testing.
• HV withstand, IR, functional & mechanical operation tests.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Testing as per customer-approved ITPs.

• Joining:Immediate / Short Notice Preferred
• Position: Switchgear Testing Engineer (MV & LV)

Specific Skills

• Experience with ABB / Siemens / Schneider / GE / Eaton switchgear preferred
• Proficiency with relay testing equipment (OMICRON / Megger / equivalent)
• Ability to mobilize quickly for site work
• Valid Iqama & Saudi driving license (preferred but not mandatory)

Additional Requirements

Due to the urgency of this role, shortlisted candidates will initially travel on a business visa. In parallel, the company will process the work visa. All visa and travel expenses will be fully borne by the company. Candidates are not required to pay any fees at any stage
