Job summary

Trading and Development Partnership in Riyadh is seeking a Banks Accountant to manage payments, reconcile bank balances, and coordinate statutory requirements with the bank. The role supports monthly closings, bank reporting, and treasury operations.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, have 2–3 years of accounting experience, and be SOCPA members. The position emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and coordination with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Define payment execution banks and funds receipts with the Treasury Operations Manager for different projects.
• Develop banks payment plan for vendor payments to be approved by the Treasury Operations Manager.
• Execute approved suppliers’ payments via internet banking or manual forms.
• Obtain payment receipts and circulate them internally or to vendors as needed.
• Handle LGs and LCs applications with banks and stakeholders.
• Ensure sufficient funds availability for loan installments due payments and interest charges.
• Review installments and interest on bank statements versus treasury reports.
• Update loan reports based on actual statements and circulate monthly updates.
• Request/download bank statements from banks/banking portals.
• Perform bank reconciliations and adjust records for variances.
• Create monthly closing journal entries for bank expenses, FX differences, interest, and loan installments.
• Communicate variances and open items with the Treasury Operations Manager.
• Adjust the system for reconciliation variances.
• Handle cheque book management activities and reporting to the bank.
• Notify treasury of cheque rejections and coordinate with teams.
• Communicate financial documents to banks as requested.
• Prepare documentation for GL, external auditors, and tax reporting.
