Job summary

Sahm Trading and Industry Company in Riyadh is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. The role entails preparing and organizing disbursement documents, tracking revenue, recording transactions, and producing accurate financial reports for management and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold at least four years of accounting experience, with Arabic and English proficiency. SOCPA or CBP certifications are preferred, and the position offers a competitive salary starting at 5,000 SAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial accounting.
• Experience with accounting software and systems.
• At least 4 years of practical accounting experience.
• SOCPA Fellowship or CBP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Auditing financial claims and ensuring legal and financial requirements are met.
• Preparing and organizing disbursement documents and following up on their approval by the competent regulatory authorities.
• Monitoring operating and capital expenditures according to the financial position of budget items.
• Preparing the monthly financial statements, monthly summaries, and annual closing accounts.
• Recording financial transactions and preparing accounting entries in accordance with approved accounting standards.
• Auditing bank accounts and preparing monthly reconciliation statements.
• Developing accounting procedures and methods and keeping up with technical and professional developments in the field.
• Preparing and storing financial reports and documents related to revenues and expenses in databases.
