Job summary

The Treasury & Banking Accountant will manage bank accounts, LC cycles, and cheque processes, ensuring daily reconciliation and accurate cash positions across the organization.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, with 2+ years in treasury or banking operations, strong ERP experience, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of treasury, banking operations, or bank reconciliation experience.
• Experience handling Letters of Credit (LCs).
• Experience depositing and tracking cheques, including returned cheques.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Upload bank statements to Zoho Books daily for all company accounts.
• Reconcile all bank accounts daily and clear unmatched items within 48 hours.
• Follow up on new LCs from receipt until proceeds are deposited.
• Submit documents to banks and resolve discrepancies before LC expiry.
• Maintain cheque registers and track all deposits.
