Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Jeddah seeks an experienced project manager to oversee transmission projects from concept through handover. You will coordinate electrical activities, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure delivery per the defined scope.

The role requires close liaison with the client and subcontractors, adherence to safety and quality standards, and preparation of regular technical reports and progress updates for the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing transmission construction projects.
• Ability to monitor schedules and budgets.
• Liaise with client and subcontractors to ensure scope adherence.

Responsibilities

• Managing transmission projects from base design to handover.
• Coordinating activities for electrical components.
• Monitoring project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinating all activities from base design to final acceptance per scope.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Reviewing and approving material submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Forwarding engineering transmittals to SEC divisions.
• Preparing regular technical reports and monthly progress updates for the Project Manager.
• Developing detailed weekly construction programs and manpower plans.
• Liaising with construction project manager, client, and subcontractor; supervising construction activities.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications to satisfy the client.
• Monitoring daily operations for safety and quality standards.
• Tracking project budgets and keeping deliverables on schedule using P6 Primavera.
