Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Miraval, seeks a Wellness Counselor for its Saudi Arabia resort to provide professional mental and emotional wellness support to guests. You will guide individual and group sessions using evidence-based methods and mindfulness techniques, aiming to foster resilience, self-awareness, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include designing workshops, collaborating with the wellness team, and ensuring all programming meets luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Integrative Health, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wellness counseling, mindfulness-based coaching, or mental well-being facilitation.
• Certification in mindfulness-based practices (e.g., MBSR, MBCT), stress management, or wellness coaching preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury wellness resort, retreat center, or integrative health environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cultural sensitivity and wellness delivery within the Saudi Arabian hospitality context.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group wellness sessions focusing on emotional balance and mindfulness.
• Utilize CBT, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and solution-focused techniques.
• Provide personalized guidance to support guest well-being goals and resilience.
• Maintain a confidential, respectful environment for all interactions.
• Collaborate with the integrative wellness team to design guest programs and journeys.
• Develop and lead wellness workshops on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and stress reduction.
• Ensure programs align with Miraval’s standards for professionalism, intention, and transformation.
• Support guest journeys by integrating wellness offerings into private sessions and retreats.
