Job summary

SYSTRA in Saudi Arabia seeks a Track Alignment Engineer to extend PMC services for a major client. The role focuses on leading and assuring track alignment design for rail projects, aligning multidisciplinary interfaces, and driving delivery to client standards.

The candidate has 10+ years in railway track alignment, proficient with OpenRail/OpenRoads, Civil 3D, MX, BIM workflows, and knowledge of KSA standards. Strong communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in railway track alignment and geometric design.
• Proficiency with rail alignment and civil design software and model/drawing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review horizontal and vertical alignment design for mainline, depot, and yard tracks.
• Define and enforce geometric design criteria, tolerances, and parameters.
• Lead design risk management and QA/verification activities.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary interfaces and client approvals.
• Prepare technical reports and design reviews for stakeholders.
