Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years direct experience in Thermoforming.
• Experience supervising thermoforming machines, mould changes, machine setup, and production teams.
• Experience with PVC/PP/PET/ABS or similar materials.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, troubleshooting, OEE, and HSE.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily thermoforming production activities according to the production schedule.
• Ensure availability of machines, manpower, raw materials, moulds, and tooling.
• Monitor production output against targets and take corrective action when required.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production.
• Ensure proper shift handover and follow-up of pending production issues.
• Supervise thermoforming machine operations and ensure approved operating parameters are maintained.
• Monitor key parameters such as heating temperature, forming pressure/vacuum, cooling, cycle time, and trimming conditions.
• Ensure the correct mould, sheet material, and tooling are used according to product specifications.
• Supervise machine changeovers, mould changes, trial runs, and start-up activities.
• Troubleshoot production and process-related problems and coordinate corrective actions.
