Cognizant is seeking a Test Analyst to ensure high-quality software and robust REST API validation for Billing & Revenue Management solutions. You will design and execute tests for web services, APIs, and integration points, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, defect analysis, and test data management, with a focus on quality, security, and release readiness across enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience in Web Services and API Testing.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web services and APIs.
• Validate REST APIs, including endpoints, request/response payloads, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
• Create and maintain reusable test suites and test data for efficient test execution.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed analysis and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Review application logs and service monitoring data to investigate and validate issues.
• Support release readiness activities through test reporting, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security guidelines, and testing best practices.
