Qualifications

• Telecom domain experience is mandatory.
• Test Manager/QA Manager experience of 13+ years.
• Experience with API testing (Postman/SoapUI).
• Proficient in SQL/data validation for data integrity checks.
• Fluent Arabic communication skills.
• Experience on large-scale digital transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive test strategy and planning for complex application ecosystems by aligning test scope, timelines, and quality goals with stakeholder expectations and agile delivery roadmaps.
• Oversee functional, integration, system, and regression testing activities for web services and business applications to ensure reliable behavior and user experience across environments.
• Coordinate agile test processes using iterative planning, backlog refinement, and continuous feedback loops to optimize test coverage and defect detection.
• Manage test design and execution in Zephyr by organizing test cases, suites, and cycles with full traceability to requirements, user stories, and defects.
• Utilize Jira to track defects, user stories, and testing progress and ensure transparent test workflows for product and engineering teams.
• Apply Git-based version control practices within testing by collaborating with development teams on branch usage and reproducibility of test results.
• Conduct web services and API testing using Postman and SoapUI, validating request/response structures, error handling, and performance aspects of REST interfaces.
• Perform detailed SQL-based data validation to verify data integrity and transformation accuracy across test scenarios.
• Provide risk-based test coverage by prioritizing scenarios around critical business functions and potential customer/operational impacts of defects.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure test outcomes support business value realization.
• Document clear test reports including defect trends and release readiness assessments for informed decisions by management and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members in modern testing practices and agile ceremonies while promoting a culture of quality and shared ownership.
• Communicate test plans and risks in Arabic and English to bridge regional stakeholders and enable cross-country collaboration in an office-based environment.
