Job summary

ApplyMint in Riyadh is seeking a QA Engineer with strong manual testing and API testing skills to ensure quality across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

You will design test plans, execute test cases, manage defects, and collaborate with analysts, developers, and product teams within an Agile environment. Exposure to test automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in test planning and test execution.
• Experience testing web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Defect tracking, logging and reporting in defect management tools.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC with knowledge of SQL data validation.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman/Swagger and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications.
• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar tools.
• Validate API requests, responses, authentication and error handling.
• Log, track and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Product Teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning and release activities.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in test planning, test execution, defect management and validating web applications, mobile applications and APIs. Exposure to test automation is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications.
• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar tools.
• Validate API requests, responses, authentication and error handling.
• Log, track and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Product Teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning and release activities.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Basic exposure to Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or Fintech domains is preferred.
• Nice to have: Banking, Payments or Fintech project experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Relevant QA certifications are a plus.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in writing test cases, test plans and test execution reports.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
