PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking a skilled Technology Developer to work on the Cortex Card Management System for the successful launch of new Credit, Debit and Prepaid Products. The role involves designing, developing, and integrating solutions that ensure seamless card issuance, lifecycle management, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

System Development & Integration

• Design and implement features within the Cortex platform to support launch of new products.
• Develop APIs and integrations with core banking systems, payment networks, and third-party services.
• Ensure scalability and performance of the card management system.

Customization & Configuration

• Configure Cortex modules to meet business requirements for credit and debit card products.
• Implement workflows for card issuance, activation, and lifecycle management.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to validate functionality.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure compliance with technical and business standards.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices for card data handling and transaction processing.
• Ensure adherence to PCI DSS and other regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide technical support during launch and post-launch phases.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in card management systems (preferably Cortex) and payment solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, SQL, and API development.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583, EMV standards, and payment network integrations.
• Experience with commercial and SME card products is highly desirable
