Job summary

Golden Elite Catering Services - GECS is seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Technician in Riyadh to maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and related systems. You will perform preventive and corrective tasks to keep equipment operational and compliant with safety standards.

You will read technical manuals, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with Operations to plan maintenance windows while documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Auto Mechanic, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE and specialized equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical faults.
• Conduct equipment inspections, testing, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure assigned maintenance tasks are completed within the required timeframe and to high-quality standards.
• Maintain equipment serviceability and operational readiness.
• Follow OEM maintenance guidelines and technical procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting when required.
• Conduct daily equipment checks before release for operations.
• Coordinate with Operations and relevant technical teams regarding equipment maintenance and availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Prepare daily equipment performance and maintenance reports.
• Ensure full compliance with operational and safety procedures

The Mechanical / Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining the operational readiness and serviceability of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and specialized operational equipment. Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Auto Mechanic, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of technical experience in maintenance, workshop operations, vehicle maintenance, or GSE maintenance.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Previous experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting independently.
• Ability to understand technical manuals, drawings, and equipment instructions.
• Ability to work with computerized systems and technical equipment.
