Job summary

Qiddiya is seeking a Technical Director to provide owner-side leadership across hospitality assets, including hotel handovers, defects management, engineering governance, and lifecycle planning. The role requires reviewing operator practices, maintenance programs, energy performance, and capital plans to ensure asset reliability and lifecycle objectives are met.

The ideal candidate combines extensive hotel engineering leadership with asset management discipline and strong stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience; 10 years in hospitality engineering or asset management.
• Experience leading hotel handovers, commissioning reviews, and operational readiness.
• Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side reviews of hospitality asset handovers into Operations.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and documentation of building systems and life safety systems.
• Review and challenge operator maintenance programs, KPI performance, and asset condition.
• Coordinate with operators, FM providers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop long-term capital planning and asset preservation strategies.
