Job summary

Almarai, a multinational dairy and food company based in Saudi Arabia, invites applications for a production supervisor role in the Processing department. You will oversee quality, safety, and plant processes to meet internal specs and standards.

Minimum 4 years in poultry/food production, with a Production Technology degree. Supervisory certs are desirable; strong SOP and quality standard implementation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in poultry or food production.
• Degree in Production Technology; Supervisory Management cert. desirable.
• Knowledge of international quality standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal Quality/HACCP audits and ISO 22000 experience.
• Propose modifications to optimize service level of the department.
• Suggest plant modifications to reduce costs and improve service.
• Able to manage a multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Foster a team environment to boost output of employees.
• Coordinate with a multicultural workforce and train staff.

Job description

To manage a team efficiently to intake poultry and process specified poultry products to meet internal customer requirements within management performance parameters by ensuring adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position within the Poultry or Food environment.

Education Qualifications:

• To hold a degree in Production Technology.
• Certificated in Supervisory Management is desirable.

Skills Required:

• Well versed with development systems, SOPs and plant commissioning.
• Knowledge of implementation of international quality standards.
• Co-operative with superiors’ peers and subordinates.
