Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to develop and implement sourcing strategies for water and wastewater projects. You will source materials, equipment and services, manage RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation and contract administration to support project schedules.

You will establish strategic supplier relationships, negotiate terms, monitor performance KPIs and resolve disputes to ensure timely delivery and value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with objectives
• Source and procure materials, equipment and services for water and wastewater projects
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities: RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance
• Identify and qualify suppliers for pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, systems
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery to support project schedules
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost and service
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and contracts
• Develop supplier performance KPIs and conduct periodic reviews

• Identify and qualify suppliers for pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, membranes, electrical and mechanical equipment
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support project schedules
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost and service
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and contractual agreements
• Develop supplier performance KPIs and conduct periodic reviews
• Resolve supplier disputes and contractual issues effectively
