Job summary

Tasnee in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Superintendent for Electrical and Instrumentation to lead the E&I team, drive reliability, and align maintenance with global standards. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, preferably within the petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture within the Reliability team, ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the integrity, reliability, and performance of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) assets through effective monitoring, maintenance, and reliability programs aligned with industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by conducting root cause failure analysis (RCFA), implementing corrective actions, and optimizing equipment reliability while reducing maintenance costs.
  • Develop and implement condition monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies to support a proactive maintenance culture and maximize asset availability.
  • Review and enhance E&I reliability procedures, standards, and practices to improve plant performance and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and implement risk-based and criticality-based maintenance strategies to optimize resource utilization and asset management.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support for E&I maintenance, reliability studies, troubleshooting, and operational challenges.
  • Support Reliability Manager and Engineers in achieving departmental reliability, availability, and performance objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance asset reliability and operational excellence.
  • Lead workforce development initiatives, including competency assessment, training plans, coaching, performance management, and annual performance appraisals.
  • Prepare, manage, and control annual operating budgets, fixed costs, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans for the E&I Reliability Section.
  • Develop, consolidate, and monitor departmental budgets, work programs, and resource plans to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between the E&I Reliability Section and other departments to support integrated operational performance.
  • Provide leadership and performance feedback to employees to enhance engagement, capability development, and succession readiness.
  • Support maintenance activities during major turnarounds, shutdowns, outages, and TAM.
  • Monitor and drive implementation of reliability recommendations, action plans, and stakeholder commitments to ensure timely closure.
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term reliability strategies to support business goals, asset integrity, and operational excellence.

Job Purpose:
