Job summary

AVALON Pharma in Riyadh is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing processes, from user department requests through to warehouse receipt and quality release.

You will collect offers, negotiate with suppliers on quality, price and delivery, issue purchase orders, coordinate with finance, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and cost savings. A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry and 1+ years in a similar role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/ Chemistry or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in procurement or related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive the purchase requisition from user Department (Planning, WH, QC, R&D, Marketing, Maintenance, Production, etc.)
• Work with the requisitioner to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Collect offers from approved vendors for requested material.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best price/quality/terms/delivery/services.
• Create and issuing Purchase Orders in the system.
• Follow up with finance for releasing the order from the system.
• Follow up with finance for payment like dues, advance, LC and IDC.
• Follow up with WH and other departments for receiving and GRN creation in the system.
• Maintain updated purchasing records/data and pricing.
• Prepare reports on open purchase orders and PR status.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/ Chemistry/ related field
