Job summary

AVALON Pharma is seeking a marketing professional with 2–3+ years of promotion experience to drive campaigns for assigned brands in Riyadh. The role focuses on determining customer needs through market research, planning promotional tactics, and maintaining profitability through budgets and forecasts.

The candidate will develop brand materials, monitor campaigns, and coordinate with agencies, sales teams, and management to optimize market impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or business education with marketing specialization.
• 2–3+ years’ experience in promotion.

Responsibilities

• Determining customer needs by specifying the research required to obtain market information.
• Recommending scope and nature of present and future product lines by reviewing product requirements and specifications.
• Executing overall marketing initiatives for assigned brands.
• Developing and executing promotion-based tactics for assigned brands; launching and monitoring these tactics and adhering to the marketing plan.
• Establishing unit and value sales forecasts and budgets for assigned brands, maintaining profitability.
• Allocating, monitoring, and controlling promotion expenditures for assigned brands.
• Initiating and developing all brand information material; reviewing and submitting required approvals for materials in pre/postproduction.
• Maintaining records of relevant markets, product lines and competitive activity (sales history, promotions, trends, media weight...).
• Monitoring and analyzing use of promotional material in field with sales force.
• Issuing marketing documents: preliminary marketing plan, marketing decisions, brand plans, long-range plan and product plans of action.
• Evaluating potential new brands, promotions, and ideas, and recommending to top management.
• Recommending additions or deletions of sizes and dosage forms of products, as sales and profit levels require.
• Preparing reports to management as required.
• Briefing advertising & creative agencies about brand and delivering brand strategies.
