Job summary

alfanar is seeking a PMO/Portfolio Manager to oversee the project portfolio within the Support Services Division in Riyadh. The role ensures governance, alignment with business objectives, and successful delivery across multiple projects.

You will establish PMO standards, monitor performance, and provide guidance to project managers while coordinating governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. A Bachelor’s degree and 6–10 years of PMO experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
• 6 to 10 years of work experience in project/PMO roles.
• Experience in governance, portfolio management and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned portfolio of projects and monitor overall performance.
• Ensure projects are aligned with objectives, priorities, and business plans.
• Support project evaluation, prioritization, sequencing, and benefits realization.
• Identify portfolio-level dependencies, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain PMO governance, methodologies, standards, and templates.
• Ensure project teams follow approved management practices and requirements.
• Monitor compliance with governance, approvals, documentation, and reporting.
• Improve PMO processes, tools, and controls based on business needs.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, and health.
• Provide guidance to project managers and support delivery challenges.
• Consolidate project information into portfolio reports, dashboards, and analyses.
• Track management decisions and ensure actions close to closure.
• Monitor resource allocation, demand, and capacity across the portfolio.
• Participate in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
