You will drive tendering, contract awards, and strategic claims while maintaining robust supplier relationships.

The role requires 15+ years in contract management or procurement within FM or related sectors, with strong leadership and GCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Contract Management, Law, Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, vendor management, or procurement, with a strong focus on service contracts, preferably FM.
• Strong understanding of contract terms and commercial principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders like the FM department.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC market and familiarity with local FM service providers would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategy aligned with program objectives and legal requirements.
• Oversee tendering, evaluation of bids, and contract award ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Ensure contract management activities, including payments, variations, and claims, are compliant.
• Establish robust contracting processes with clear terms and risk allocation.
• Develop principles for strategic claims scrutiny and defense.
• Oversee cost management, budget control, and reporting of adverse trends.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Serve as interface for pre- and post-contract management with clients and contractors.
• Lead the commercial team including cost consultants and procurement specialists.
