Job summary

Alkhorayef Industries Company in Jeddah seeks a Demand Operations professional to develop forecasts, review trends, and coordinate cross-functional inputs to improve supply and inventory performance.

You will monitor warehouses, optimize supplier methods, and prepare reports while using the Demand Planning Software; this role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to reflect accurate assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
• Utilize a collaboration and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
• Assist in developing new or optimizing existing methods of supply, including emergency strategies, by using corporate standard concepts
• Performs quantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impact to logistics costs and structure
• Investigates supply methods such as: transportation, packaging, source of supply, and material flow for new or existing suppliers as well as new supplier selection process
• initiates, investigates and develops medium to long term planning strategies influencing supplier selection as well as initiates and implements process improvements by being innovative and creative
• monitor the inventory of warehouses and ensure that slow and non-moving inventory will be communicated to all concerns for immediate actions
• Prepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecasting
• Use and maintain the Demand Planning Software as the primary forecasting system tool
• Follow all relevant Supply Chain policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within AIC
