Job summary

Qiddiya seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Cost Planning, to lead and coordinate cost planning activities across development assets and stages. You will review consultant outputs, support Stage Gate readiness, and ensure governance alignment with Qiddiya standards.

This role collaborates with business units, design, commercial, and procurement teams, applying benchmark data and cost planning analytics to deliver reliable, evidence-based inputs throughout the asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with relevant cost planning experience.
• 12+ years in cost planning, quantity surveying, or pre-contract commercial management.
• Experience with design-to-budget, benchmarking, inflation, and reporting.
• Professional accreditation or progress toward it is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cost planning activities across projects, workstreams, and development programmes.
• Review consultant outputs: cost plans, reconciliations, and risk allowances.
• Support Stage Gate readiness, governance, and required deliverables.
• Maintain current cost planning records for assigned areas.
• Coordinate with business units, design, procurement, finance, and external consultants.
• Provide early-stage cost advice, feasibility input, and pre-concept planning support.
• Brief, mobilise, and monitor external cost consultants.
• Track scope and cost movements; escalate material changes and non-compliance.
• Apply benchmarking data and cost planning analytics to validate costs.
