Job summary

Qiddiya, a leader in major General BU developments, seeks a Director of Cost Planning to guide strategic design-to-budget decisions and ensure cost governance across portfolios. You will lead internal teams and external consultants, setting requirements, validating outputs, and supporting Stage Gate approvals.

The role requires extensive experience in cost planning, outstanding leadership, and the ability to influence executive decisions within complex programs at Qiddiya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of cost planning/ QS experience on major developments.
• Experience leading external cost consultants and reviewing cost plans.
• Advanced proficiency in cost planning software and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning across major General BU projects, aligning with budgets and objectives.
• Govern cost consultants, ensure governance and timely outputs.
• Review and challenge consultant cost plans and benchmarks.
• Report to senior stakeholders with endorsements and recommendations.
