Job summary

Daikin seeks a Corporate Legal Manager (Saudi Talent) based in Riyadh to partner with the business as the primary legal advisor. You will oversee the Saudi legal function, advise on contracts, governance, and regulatory matters, and align with Daikin Europe Team for regional strategy.

You will lead, mentor, and develop two direct reports while ensuring pragmatic risk management and business-aligned legal services across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law and bar admission or equivalent must-have.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification legal experience, international exposure valued.
• Experience leading a legal team in a corporate/multinational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia laws and regulations is essential.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Oversee corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
• Manage disputes and liaise with external counsel when needed.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to business units and leaders.
• Lead and develop the Saudi legal team and coordinate with Daikin Europe team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, sales and operations.
