Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in corporate legal departments or law firms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law (LLB/LLM).
• Experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Experience leading legal teams or mentoring juniors is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide strategic legal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts to minimize risk.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support board and exec with corporate governance matters.
• Manage disputes, liaise with external counsel, and represent in negotiations.
• Work with government authorities and external counsel.
• Mentor junior staff and lead a high-performing legal team.
