Job summary

Shangri-La Jeddah is seeking a Storekeeper to manage receiving, storing, and issuing hotel supplies for the Purchasing Department. You will ensure proper verification, accurate inventory, and correct stock rotation to support hotel operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong English communication, and prior storekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel environment. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Cost Control teams to maintain orderly

• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Experience as Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check goods against PO and delivery notes.
• Verify quantity, quality, and condition of items.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Store goods properly and apply FIFO/FEFO.
• Issue items against approved store requisitions.
• Monitor par/minimum stock levels and inform Purchasing.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Cost Control.
• Maintain a clean, organized storeroom.

Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, and issuing hotel supplies and materials purchased through the Purchasing Department. The position ensures that all incoming goods are properly checked, recorded, stored, and distributed to the relevant hotel departments while maintaining accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation.

As a Storekeeper, we rely on you to,

• Receive and check goods against PO and delivery notes.
• Verify quantity, quality, and condition of items.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience as a Storekeeper, Purchasing Storekeeper, Receiving Clerk, or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Good understanding of Purchase Orders, delivery notes, requisitions, and inventory documentation.
• Good numerical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently.
