Ninja is seeking a Store Development Engineer to support the development, setup, and readiness of our dark stores and retail locations. You will oversee fit-out, inspect sites, and ensure that each location meets technical and operational standards before launch.

You will travel between project locations, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, review drawings, and track progress to prevent delays in openings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the development, fit-out, and readiness of new dark store locations.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect construction progress and site conditions.
• Ensure stores are prepared and fit for operation before the opening date.
• Inspect flooring, walls, ceilings, lighting, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other construction elements.
• Verify store layouts, storage areas, workstations, and spaces meet approved plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, suppliers, and operations to resolve issues.
• Follow up on snag lists and ensure defects are corrected before handover.
• Review technical drawings and ensure on-site execution matches designs.
• Monitor project timelines and follow up on pending works to avoid delays.
• Support installation and readiness of store equipment, fixtures, shelving, and facilities.
• Prepare site inspection reports, progress updates, and readiness checklists.
• Identify technical issues and propose solutions to meet company standards.
• Travel between project locations to maintain quality.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Store Development Engineer to support the development, setup, and readiness of our dark stores and retail/food locations.

The role focuses on ensuring that every dark store is properly constructed, fully equipped, safe, and ready to operate. The engineer will conduct regular site visits, follow up on construction and fit-out works, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure that each location meets the required technical and operational standards before launch.
This position requires frequent travel to different locations and a hands‑on approach to site inspections, problem‑solving, and project follow‑up.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure dark stores are fully prepared and fit for operation before the opening date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of 3D Max.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of technical construction drawings, fit‑out works, and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify construction defects and site issues.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and conduct regular site visits.
