Job summary

CHANEL boutique seeks a Stock Assistant to support efficient stock management and outstanding customer service on the shop floor. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth deliveries, accurate inventory, and effective stock control, contributing to CHANEL's luxury standards.

The role requires experience in luxury fashion, excellent Excel skills, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset to adapt to a fast-paced environment and evolving seasonal needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the same role within luxury fashion.
• Strong stock management and inventory control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages and organizes stock activities: deliveries, reservations, obsolete items, invoicing, packaging, relabeling, and sales organization.
• Conducts inventories and rotates stock per product family and annual inventory, including remote stock.
• Proposes improvements to operational processes and supply/logistics organization.
• Performs stock analyses to support optimization efforts.
• Develops and runs Morning Briefs as needed.

In a demanding and constantly changing environment, the Stock Assistant contributes to the effective management of the Boutique's stock. He or she demonstrates great professionalism and contributes to making CHANEL the ultimate reference in luxury.

Combining a keen sense of customer service, a pronounced team spirit and a strong results orientation, the Stock Assistant contributes to optimising the shop's results in line with the House's commercial and image strategy. Working directly with the Operations Manager, he or she will do everything possible to facilitate work on the sales floor, so that the best possible service is offered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• He or she manages and organizes stock activities: reception and control of deliveries, management of customer reservations, obsolete items, follow-up of invoices and packaging, re-labelling of products, organization of sales
• He or she is responsible for the proper conduct and results of inventories in accordance with procedures: rotating inventories by product family and the annual inventory, as well as the inventory of remote stock
• He or she makes proposals to the management to optimize operational processes, make improvements to the supply system and logistics organization
• He or she regularly carries out stock analyses to provide input for optimization
• He or she develops and runs Morning Briefs when required

Your Profile:

• Previous experience in same role within luxury fashion
• Inventory management professional with strong technical skills
• Organized, rigorous, analytical and synthetic skills
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Able to deal with emergencies and solution-oriented
• A strong sense of customer service
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
• Fashion sensitivity and intercultural awareness
