Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Steel Structure Engineer for Structural Design in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive experience in steel structure design, modelling, load analysis, and coordination with multiple disciplines.

Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and AutoCAD is essential, with strong knowledge of Saudi building codes and BIM workflows. The position is full-time and based on site in Riyadh, offering exposure to large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects and opportunities

Qualifications

Advanced proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro or SAP2000.
Experience in structural steel design for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Ability to coordinate between designers, fabricators, contractors, and site teams.

Responsibilities

Design structural steel systems for various projects including commercial and infrastructure.
Develop structural models and perform engineering analysis using STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent software.
Carry out calculations for member capacities, loading, stability, and deflections.
Review fabrication drawings and shop drawings for conformance to design requirements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, MEP, and contractors to resolve issues.
