Job summary

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety or a related field, 1–3 years of experience, Kawader Safety Certificate, and familiarity with ISO 45001:2018.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, HSE, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment, or a similar role.
• Kawader Safety Certificate is required.
• OSHA, NEBOSH, HSE, or OSH certification is an advantage.

Our client, a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is looking for an SSHE Officer to join its operations team in Jeddah.

The role is responsible for supporting a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment by implementing EHS policies, identifying workplace hazards, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies and procedures in line with company standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards affecting people, property, and the environment.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate safety records.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks and discomfort.
• Work with employees and management to strengthen safety awareness and loss prevention.
• Deliver safety training when required.
• Prepare and maintain emergency response plans.
• Support compliance with ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
• Promote adherence to EHS rules, procedures, and safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, HSE, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment, or a similar role.
• Kawader Safety Certificate required.
• OSHA, NEBOSH, HSE, or OSH certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and risk assessment.
• Understanding of ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food and beverage, industrial operations, or production environments will be highly considered.
