Amazon Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant for AWS ProServe to design, implement, and manage complex AWS solutions aligned with customer goals. You will guide migrations, optimize performance, and lead implementation while mentoring teams across projects.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable architectures and drive best-practice adoption. Experience with cloud-native CI/CD and AI/ML acceleration is advantageous.

Formación

• Experience with full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
• Experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.
• Experience leading large-scale technical programs with customer benefits and successful completion.
• Experience leading software development in a DevOps model.
• 5+ years with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies including Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, virtualization and network protocols (DNS/DHCP/TCP).
• Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Windows Server or REST API based services, plus Big Data.
• Experience building cloud-native CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, CodeDeploy (AWS) or GitLab.
• Experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs or related AI acceleration hardware.

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Sr. Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, or experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
• Experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
• Experience leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion
• Experience leading software development organizations in a "DevOps" model
• 5+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations experience
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem, or experience with virtualization (Hypervisors, VMware, Xen) and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP
• Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Windows Server, or experience working with REST API based services and experience in any Bigdata architecture
• Experience developing cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Code Deploy (AWS) or GitLab
• Experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience working with partners through account, product or program management and business development engagements
• Experience as a technical account nanager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect or in a similar role
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience with designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies
• 7+ years of mainframe and legacy systems experience
• Experience with database management systems
