The Red Sea Development Company is seeking an experienced H&S Specialist to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental policies across our nursery operations in Saudi Arabia.

You will advise on hazard mitigation, conduct inspections and risk assessments, and support emergency preparedness while promoting a proactive safety culture among employees, contractors, and visitors.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as H&S Professional.
• Knowledge of legislation (OSHA/EMS, Saudi Arabia HSE, COSHH, Confined Space, Lifting Operations, Excavations) and HSE procedures.
• Experience in writing reports and policies/guidelines for health, safety, and environment.
• Good communication skills to explain safety procedures and regulations clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word).
• Certificate in occupational health, safety, and environment.

Responsabilidades

• Compile safety programs.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and standardize H&S to remain consistent.
• Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential health, safety, and environmental hazards, and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Support for development of job safety analysis or risk assessment and review.
• Initiate, organize, and perform H&S trainings of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and promote safety culture by encouraging safe work practices and recognizing employees who follow safety guidelines.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and coordinate emergency drills.

Job Purpose:

• We are seeking a responsible H&S Specialist to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and guidelines.
• Your primary role will be advising on measures to minimize hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Record and investigate incidents to determine causes.
• Prepare reports on occurrences, compile & maintain relevant registers, and provide statistical information to reporting manager and/or his/her immediate superior.
• Promote a positive safety culture by fostering employee engagement, recognition, and continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Job Requirements:

Qualification and Experience:

• Proven experience asH&S Professional.
• Enthusiasm and attention to detail always.
• In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EMS, Saudi Arabia’s HSE, COSHH, Confined Space, Lifting Operations, Excavations) and HSE procedures.
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
• Experience in writing reports and policies/guidelines for health, safety, and environment.
• Good communication skills to explain safety procedures and regulations clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
• Diligent with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present, and explain health, safety, and environment topics.
• Certificate in occupational health, safety, and environment.

Skills:

• Constructions or Operations work scopes, at least two (3) years relevant experience
