Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, SCM, Engineering, Procurement, or related field.
• 5–7 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years hands‑on experience sourcing machinery, equipment, or structural components from China and other international markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
• Experience in amusement ride/outdoor entertainment industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers across China and global markets.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with international suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities from supplier identification and purchase orders through final delivery.
• Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, operations, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Ensure sourced machinery, equipment, and structural components meet required quality and technical specifications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternate vendors, and process improvements.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, technologies, and sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and commercial terms.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to international sourcing, logistics, quality, and supply disruptions.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, sourcing documentation, contracts, and performance reports.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on sourcing activities, supplier performance, costs, and savings.

Role Overview

The role will focus on identifying reliable international suppliers, particularly in China, negotiating competitive commercial terms, ensuring quality, and managing end-to-end sourcing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 3 5 years of hands‑on experience sourcing machinery, equipment, or structural components from China and other international markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
• Experience in sourcing heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or structural components is highly desirable.
• Experience in the amusement ride/outdoor entertainment industry will be a strong advantage.
• Strong supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of international logistics, import processes, and customs procedures.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality and compliance requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Good understanding of Chinese business culture and negotiation practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a need basis.
