Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in Riyadh is seeking a Sorting Team Leader to build and execute scientific sorting plans, allocate tasks, and supervise workflow efficiency. You will coordinate equipment use, ensure timely dispatch, and address anomalies to maintain quality across end-to-end logistics processes.

You will lead a team, organize regular training, and collaborate with loading, unloading, and transportation to ensure smooth handovers and sustained performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Develop sorting plans based on cargo volume and timeliness targets.
• Coordinate equipment usage and ensure timely completion and dispatch of sorted goods.
• Oversee sorting workflows, ensure compliance with standards, and correct violations.
• Address anomalies, conduct inspections to ensure accuracy and reduce errors.
• Manage daily operations of the sorting team and organize training.
• Collaborate with loading/unloading and transportation to ensure end-to-end flow.

Responsibilities

• Task Allocation & Personnel Scheduling: Develop scientific sorting plans based on cargo volume and timeliness targets.
• Process Supervision & Optimization: Oversee the execution of sorting workflows, inspect compliance with operational standards, and promptly correct violations.
• Exception Handling & Quality Control: Address anomalies during sorting, such as cargo damage or sorting errors, providing timely feedback and coordinating solutions.
• Team Management & Training: Manage the daily operations of the sorting team, organize training sessions to improve operational skills and safety awareness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with loading/unloading, transportation, and other roles to ensure smooth handover of goods.
