Job summary

Al Rugaib Furniture Company in Dammam seeks an experienced Sofa Production Manager to oversee all stages of sofa and upholstered furniture manufacturing, from framing to final inspection. The role ensures efficient production, high quality, cost control, and timely delivery of orders.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in sofa manufacturing or furniture factory management, with strong knowledge of materials and processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of sofa/manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of wood, foam, fabrics, leather, and their durability.
• Ability to manage workflows and meet production targets.
• Proven cost-control and waste-reduction experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production departments from carpentry to packaging.
• Develop daily and weekly production plans to meet orders and deadlines.
• Ensure materials (wood, foam, fabrics, leather) meet quality standards.
• Optimize efficiency and minimize waste of materials and resources.
• Manage carpenters, upholsterers, sewing operators, and production workers; train staff.
• Oversee regular maintenance of cutting and sewing machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
